monthly support + resources at your Fingertips

The Sunrise
Membership Library

You want to support them well. You just need help understanding what that means.

When you’re supporting an apraxic autistic loved one, client, or individual in your care, it can feel like you’re always trying to connect the dots. You’re not overthinking it. Apraxic autism is complex, and there are a lot of connected pieces to understand.

You may have heard terms like motor planning, proprioception, sensory-motor differences, regulation, praxis, apraxia, reliable communication, presuming competence, and trauma-informed support — but still don’t quite understand what they mean, how they fit together, or how to apply them in real life.

Traditional approaches focus mainly on behavior, compliance, or isolated skills. At Sunrise, we look at the whole picture — the body, the nervous system, communication, autonomy, and the lived experience of the person you love or support.

That’s why the Sunrise Membership Library was created.

Inside, you’ll find practical guides, short teaching videos, monthly Q&As, webinar replays, guest speakers, and ongoing resources designed to help you learn & grow in your understanding of whole-body apraxia.

Read, Watch, Print, & Share

Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, or clinician with a full roster of clients, you already know life rarely gives you quiet downtime with zero interruptions.

Most days, you’re juggling regulation needs, care routines, communication access, and therapy appointments. Meanwhile, everyone still needs lunch, the laundry still exists, and you almost drove off with your coffee on the hood of the car again. And because support can look different from one day to the next, you’re often figuring out what’s needed in real time while also trying to keep everyone regulated and somewhat on schedule.

We get it. You’re busy, and probably a little overwhelmed, okay fine, very overwhelmed. We created a variety of resources inside the membership to offer support that fits your life and schedule.

Some days, you may have time to read through a guide. Other days, you may need a quick teaching clip you can watch between appointments, during lunch, or before the next reminder pops up on your phone.

You can print a checklist and hang it on the fridge, share a resource with your care team so everyone’s on the same page, or watch a full workshop replay when you finally get that rare moment to sit down and take it all in.

The membership is built to give you options, so you can keep learning in the way that works best for you. And we’re just getting started. The membership will continue to grow with new resources created to help you better understand whole-body apraxia and support the person you love, care for, or serve.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • No. The course and membership can be used independently. The course gives a fuller step-by-step walkthrough, while the membership gives you individual ongoing resources, videos, and support.

We recommend taking the course because it sets the foundation that the membership resources build upon, but you are not required to take the course to join the membership. There is a discount code for the course within the membership, and vice verse, if you are curious about both! We did this to better support access to a variety of learning resources.

  • Yes. All members have access to the monthly community Q&A.

Rise members can join the call, listen to Erin’s teaching, and learn from the questions and topics discussed during the conversation. Bring a notebook — these calls are full of explanations, examples, and practical takeaways you can bring back into everyday support.

Shine members receive an added benefit during the call: a dedicated question slot. That means their question has reserved time, giving them a more direct opportunity to ask a question and receive guidance during the live conversation. Rise members are still able to ask questions, as time allows.

  • Rise is for the member who likes to move through the resources at their own pace. You want the guides, printables, teaching videos, replays, monthly resources, and community Q&A access ready when you need them. You like having a library you can come back to, work through on your own, and use in whatever order makes sense for your life.

Shine is for the member who knows they’re going to want to raise their hand. You have questions. You want a place to bring them. And sometimes you don’t just need another resource — you need someone to help you think through what’s happening with the person you love or support.

Shine includes everything in Rise, plus Ask the Apraxia Coach email support, and a reserved question slot during the monthly Q&A. Shine members also receive exclusive access to purchase 1:1 coaching calls and video submission reviews.

    Bottom Line?
Choose Rise if you want the library.
Choose Shine if you want the library and a few more ways to say, “Okay, but can we talk about what this looks like for us?”

  • You can reach us anytime via our contact page or email.

We aim to respond quickly—usually within one business day.

“This membership is just the beginning of my hopes and dreams for this community.”

I want us to keep learning and growing as a community, so we can create more spaces where apraxic autistic individuals are seen, heard, supported, and fully presumed capable.

I hope this membership and all the resources Sunrise offers will help families, caregivers, and a variety of practitioners rise in understanding and shine that support into their homes, clinics, schools, communities, and the world.
