Hi, I’m Minji Lee
MEET YOUR OT
Minji Lee, O.T.D, OTR/L
I do my utmost to incorporate creativity, joy, and teaching moments in my OT sessions.
Hi, I'm Minji! I'm a proud Californian from the Los Angeles/Orange County area. In recent years, I've found myself at home in north San Diego. Prior to OT, I worked as an English teacher in Turkey for 5 years, where sohbet-- having meaningful conversations with loved ones or strangers, accompanied by slow sips of black tea in tulip-shaped glasses (and warm pistachio baklava on a good day)-- formed my perspective on living with kindness, curiosity, and intention.
My professional journey that led me to OT has many layers; I incorporate my experiences as a teacher, tutor, paraprofessional, inclusion advocate, and summer camp director into my role as an occupational therapist. I also aim to show up for my clients in ways that honor them exactly as they are. I work hard to help foster meaningful growth for my clients, families, and their extended supports.

Hobbies & Personal Interests
In my free time, I enjoy going for walks with our dogs, snorkeling at the beach, reading strange literature, and planning my next travel adventure. I am constantly trying to revive my small backyard vegetable garden to make colorful salads, and have humbly learned that green onions and tomatoes are very resilient (watermelons, not so much). Simple quality time with my family, such as unwinding in the garage with a new anime show and a big bag of corn chips, is truly therapeutic for me!
